Over the course of 2019, 2018 and 2017, I have been working as a cameraman on a documentary by filmmaker Eef de Graaf called "Duurzame Eilanden" ("Islands in Transition"). The Dutch Wadden islands and the islands of Zeeland are regarded internationally as pioneer regions for the transition to a more sustainable, zero-emissions future. They have launched a range of large scale projects to realise their ambitions. The story follows a number of idealists from different walks of life on their long and winding road towards their dreams of "sustainability". The film is set to premiere at the "Film By The Sea" Festival in Vlissingen in September 2019. Below is a short pilot / teaser.
